Hooded gunman tries to storm Belgian military base. No one hurt

A gunman wearing a balaclava Monday rammed the entrance barriers of the Belgian military Flawinne barracks in the Namur province of Wallonia, Belgium. He fled when soldiers opened fire. His car was later found abandoned and searched following reports of explosives. EU and government buildings have been under military guard after a spate of terrorist attacks. In May 2014, four people were killed in a terrorist attack on the Jewish museum in Brussels. The suspect was a French man of Algerian descent, said to have spent a year in Syria
