Hospital nurses launch strike for more manpower

Thousands of nurses at hospitals and clinics went on strike  on Monday after their talks with the Health and Finance Ministries failed overnight to reach agreement. The nurses, overburdened before the coronavirus outbreak, claim they are short of hundreds of nursing staff to keep up with the new crisis. During the strike, the nurses will continue to operate essential services.
