Hostilities between the Koreas very likely, S. Korean president says
With North Korea's missile and nuclear development "advancing rapidly" and tensions spiking on the Korean Peninsula, there is a "high possibility" of clashes between the North and the South on land or at sea, South Korean President Moon Jae-In said Wednesday. While visiting the Defense Ministry, he vowed "I will never tolerate the North's provocations and nuclear threats", calling on the military to assume a "watertight defense posture". Moon took office on May 10.
