Huge explosion in Aleppo hotel housing Syrian troops

The explosion which destroyed the Carlton Citadel Hotel in the Syriab city of Aleppo Thursday is believed to have inflicted heavy casualties on the government troops based there. Rebel fighters placed the bomb in an archeological tunnel dug underneath the hotel near the city’s medieval citadel and souk.
