IAEA finally gives green light for ending sanctions on Iran
The International Atomic Energy Agency Saturday night reported that Iran had fulfilled its side of the nuclear deal with the six world powers and that sanctions against that country could be lifted. The watchdog’s report was to have been released Saturday morning, but was held up during the day if view of differences that remained to be ironed out about Tehran’s fulfillment of its obligations. Following the announcement, the foreign ministers of the six powers and Iran made a joint appearance to the media in Vienna, headquarters of the IAEA. Read DEBKAilfe's Special Report.
