IDF announces nationwide drills this week
The Israeli military suddenly announced on Saturday night that the IDF will conduct military exercises nationwide from Sunday morning until the end of the week. The drills were described as scheduled as part of the IDF’s 2018 training program for maintaining the armed forces’ readiness. Unusual traffic movements on the roads and by air would take place. The announcement came amid escalation on Israel’s Gaza and northern borders.
