IDF Chief of Staff on five-day trip to US

Israel’s chief of staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz began a five-day US visit Sunday as guest of the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey. He will review events in the region with US officials. Maj. Gen. Gadi Eizenkott, his deputy, will stand in for the chief of staff in his absence.
