IDF Chief of Staff to undergo “medical procedure.” Deputy stands in

Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkot, IDF Chief of Staff, will undergo a “medical procedure” at the Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva during the next few days.  His deputy, Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, will stand in for him until he returns to his duties. The official communiqué says Gen. Eisenkot’s health is “otherwise fine.”
