IDF demolishes home of Palestinian Halamish killer
In an operation heavily secured by the Border Police, IDF forces early Wednesday demolished the two-floor home at Kubar, near Ramallah, of the Palestinian terrorist who knifed to death three members of the Salomon family in Halamish on July 21. In a local disturbance staged to stop the operation, a Palestinian was injured by an rubber bullet.
Security forces earlier detained the terrorist’s father, mother, two brothers and an uncle, charging them with having had prior knowledge of the crime and failing to notify the authorities or preventing it. Their neighbors donated a new site to the family for rebuilding their destroyed home. Michal Salomon, who lost her husband Gilad in the attack, said terrorists should not be allowed to rebuild their homes, when hers was destroyed forever.
