IDF drone said to have crashed in Gaza

One of the IDF's unmanned aerial vehicles, apparently a Skylark, crashed Wednesday in the area of the Gazan neighborhood of Sajaiya, according to Arab sources and reports on Gazan social networks. The IDF Spokesman's Office said that the topic is being examined but did not elaborate further. DEBKAfile's intelligence and military sources said the Skylark drone, manufactured by Israel's Elbit Systems and primarily used by the IDF Artillery Corps, is intended to supply visual intelligence for battalions and brigades of the ground forces.
