IDF elite unit is honored with award of distinction

The IDF elite unit Sayeret Matkal was presented with the award of distinction for successfully accomplishing highly complex operations in the outgoing year. The ceremony Tuesday was attended by President Shimon Peres, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and AMAN Chief Maj. Gen. Avivi Kochavi.
