IDF general warns Gazans that they risk death by digging Hamas tunnels

Israel's coordinator of government activities in the territories, IDF Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, posted a message in Arabic on his Facebook page on Wednesday warning Gazans that anyone who participates in the digging of Hamas tunnels takes his life into his hands. "Thirty people who dealt with the Hamas tunnels died during the last two years. Some of them were killed while digging them, some of them in 'work accidents', and the rest only God knows", he said. Earlier, Maj. Gen. Mordechai announced a decision to expand the fishing zone off the Gazan coast from six nautical miles to nine nautical miles for three months on the condition that the expansion will not be used for smuggling or terror-related activities.
