IDF officer injured in Palestinian stabbing in Efrat

An IDF officer was knifed and moderately injured by a Palestinian terrorist at the entrance to the town of Efrat near Hebron early Sunday. The assailant, who hid in the bushes, sprang out and struck when the officer stopped by to talk with the security guard at the gate. The Palestinian was shot and critically injured. Friday and Saturday saw a string of terrorist attacks in which three Israelis were injured and three Palestinians killed.
