IDF officer: We are nearing a Gaza campaign
Thursday morning, after 150 Hamas rockets overnight and 8 injured civilian casualties, a senior IDF officer said: “We are nearing a campaign in Gaza for inflicting a heavy blow on Hamas. The IDF is building up substantial strength in the South and preparing to continue reprisals. In the coming hours, Hamas will be made to understand that it has chosen the wrong path.” The officer went on to say: “Reservists are being mobilized to man the Iron Dome batteries which have been deployed in additional locations.” The officer added finally: “If necessary, we will start evacuating civilians.” The security cabinet meets later.
Time to “mow the lawn” in Gaza, again.

Maybe it’s time to create a buffer zone out of Gaza. Push everyone out, tear it all down, destroy every tunnel and flatten it. Station missile defense systems in that buffer zone every 500m along with US-made Phalanx anti-everything gatling gun. Israel has tried the rest of the world’s suggestions for long enough…they didn’t work.
Israel should hire Asad as a Prime minister.He needs the money. Asad knows how to deal with Arabs.It would a bargain Asad will do the job at fraction of the amount of money that Israel spends on defens. I confident that with Asad in charge the Hamas terrorists will never be seen again
