IDF raids home of Palestinian officer who shot Israeli soldiers
A large military and border police force Monday night raided the home of a Palestinian security officer, shortly after he shot and injured three Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint outside Bethel. His brother, another officer of the Palestinian security service, was taken in for questioning and the rest of the family had their work permits in Israel withdrawn. According to Arab social media, Palestinian security personnel visited the terrorist’s home before he attacked the soldiers and confiscated the firearms and ammunition in his possession. Nonetheless, he had a Kalashnikov which he used to shoot the soldiers, before being gunned down himself.
