IDF soldier wounded by Palestinian gunfire during Nablus operation
An IDF soldier sustained minor wounds on Wednesday night from gunfire by Palestinians in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus. The soldier was among a large force of policemen, border police and IDF troops providing security for a convoy of 16 buses of worshippers that came to Joseph's Tomb in the city. Rocks and firebombs were thrown by Palestinians who rioted along the convoy's route in the area even though the visit had been coordinated ahead of time with the Palestinian security forces.
