IDF special unit hits 4 infiltrators planting bombs on Golan border

A special military unit on guard in the southern area of the Golan spotted four infiltrators from the Syrian side of the border on Sunday night in the act of planting explosives. The troops with aerial support opened fire and hit all four. The bombers are still to be identified. The army spokesman said they are not necessarily Hizballah. The IDF has been reinforced and placed on high alert for more than a week since the Lebanese Hizballah threatened to avenge the death of a fighter in an Israeli air strike near Damascus – either from Lebanon or from Syria.
