IDF to be armed with new, high-precision rockets

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced Monday that Israel is purchasing innovative, high precision rockets. The deal signed with Israeli Military Industries (IMI) is worth hundreds of millions of shekels. The minister said that the new ground-to-ground rockets of different types, some still under development, will have ranges of between 30km and 300km. They will boost IDF’s capabilities within a few years for hitting hit any point in the Middle East, whether near or far.
