IDF will not let sophisticated weapons reach the wrong hands

Without naming Hizballah, IDF Chief of Staft Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkott pledged Tuesday that Israel’s armed forces would continue to stand guard over the national interests and make sure that “sophisticated weaponry would not reach the wrong hands.” He said that Israel faces four menaces, including guerrilla and terrorist aggression and cyber warfare. Eisenkott praised the government for its policy of non-intervention [in the Syrian war] while safeguarding national interests. Mossad Director Yossi Cohen stressed that Iran poses the most significant threat to Israel. Both were speaking at the Meir Dagan Security and Strategy Conference taking place in Netanya.
