IDF winds down human aid project for thousands of Syrians
The IDF reported Thursday that in all, 7,000 Syrian children were treated in a field hospital set up on the border, plus another 1,300 in Israeli hospitals. In the past five years, 7,000 wounded Syrians received treatment at that hospital and the gravely injured were moved to medical facilities inside Israel. Syrian refugees uprooted from their homes were supplied with 1,700 tons of food, 630 tents, 40 vehicles, 20 generators, and more than a million liters of fuel, as well as 8,200 crates of diapers, tons of medical supplies and clothing.
