If talks fail, Iran will enrich uranium to 60 percent
Mansour Haqiqatpour, deputy head of parliament's Foreign Policy and National Security Committee, said Tuesday 60 percent enrichment would yield fuel for nuclear submarines which require highly-enriched uranium. DEBKAfile: Many Western nuclear experts believe Iran is already refining uranium to levels higher than the 20 percent admitted. From 60 percent it would be a short jump to 90-percent grade for nuclear bombs.
