In latest signal to Pyongyang, US test-fires Minuteman missile
The US military conducted a successful test of a Minuteman III missile on Wednesday in what is considered its latest response to North Korea's recent ICBM tests. The weapon launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base on the coast of California was not armed. It reportedly landed in an area of the Kwajalein Atoll in the South Pacific. The Minuteman III is the US military's only land-based ICBM.
