India is building an Israel-developed fence along its Pakistan border

India is using a system of smart fences and surveillance methods from technology developed in Israel for a fence it is building to secure its border with Pakistan against infiltrators. At present, we patrol from point A to point B, said K.K. Sharma, the director general of India's Border Security Force (BSF). With the new fence, “we can shift to a QRT (quick reaction team)-based system. We will have multi-layered security systems. If one fails, then the second system will detect it."
