Indian probe fingers Iran for bomb at Israel’s Delhi embassy
More than a month after a crude bomb exploded outside the Israel embassy in January, India’s counterterrorism agencies conclude that the Iranian Al Qods force was behind the plot, although the bomb was planted by a local Indian Shiite cell. False flags were planted to incriminate the Islamic State, but Indian investigators found it was part of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards campaign against Israel.
The bomb was of low intensity since Tehran wished to avoid a falling-out with Delhi. The device contained ammonium powder and had ball bearings, which shattered the windows of three cars parked nearby.
