Indian Supreme Court upholds Mumbai terrorist’s death sentence

The death sentence against Ajmal Amir Qasab, the only survivor of the 2008 Islamist attack on Mumbai, was upheld by India’s supreme court.  The 60-hour siege by a gang of nine Pakistan-based terrorists claimed 165 lives in Mumbai luxury hotels, railway station and the Jewish Habad center, where six people were killed.
