Injuries from gunshots outside Italian PM’s office
At least two policemen were injured, according to Italian state TV in the shooting attack at the Prime Minister's office in Rome Sunday. A man has been arrested. The attack occurred as Italy’s new coalition government was being sworn in Sunday after two months of two months of political stalemate since the general election. The ceremony began at 11:30 (09:30 GMT) at the presidential Quirinal Palace in Rome. The coalition brings together Enrico Letta's Democratic Party (PD) and the People of Freedom party (PDL) of former PM Silvio Berlusconi. Letta is the new prime minister.
