International donors’ conference on aid to ravaged Beirut

World leaders were holding a virtual donors’ conference Sunday on aid to Beirut,
five days after the Lebanese capital was ravaged by disastrous explosions. Sponsored by France and the UN, President Donald Trump said he would join the call. The damage is estimated as up to $15bn after a massive blast that left at least 158 dead, 5,000 injured and 300, 000 homeless.
