Interpol: Two stolen passports used by Iranian asylum-seekers

Interpol secretary general Ronald K. Noble said Tuesday that the two passengers who used stolen passports to board a Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared Saturday with 239 aboard were two Iranians seeking asylum in Europe. Pouri Nourmohammadi,19, and Delavar Seyedmohammaderza, 29, traveled to Malaysia from Tehran on Iranian passports and obtained the stolen Italian and Austrian passports in Kuala Lumpur. There, they bought tickets together for Beijing and on to Amsterdam. From there, Nourmohammadi was to proceed to Frankfurt, Germany where his mother lives. Seyedmohammaderza's intended final destination was Copenhagen, Denmark. Nothing connects them to any terrorist organization.
