Iran accused of mass arrests, torture of fuel protesters

A report by Amnesty International accuses Iran of the arrest, disappearance and gruesome torture of some 7,000 protesters following November 2019 demonstrations against fuel price hikes. Judges and prosecutors are said to have been complicit in the brutal campaign of repression and atrocities against the protesters and their families, including small children. The report is based on interviews with 500 survivors.
