Iran has reportedly executed one of its former ministry of defense employees suspected of spying for the US. Jalal Hajizavar was a contract employee for the aerospace organization who quit his post nine years ago, according to Iranian reports on Saturday. He was executed after being convicted by a military court and the discovery of documents and spying equipment at his home. The IRIB news agency reports that Hajizavar was executed at the Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, west of Tehran.

This bad amerikan spy affair came just in time to shake off any critic thoughts about drones and supposedly “errors” done by IRGC. Plus, it keeps people on the streets aware our vigilance and thinking “what if me next?”.

The good-willing of IRGC can not be disputed, this time his mother was not forced on, and it was a quick trial to prevent undue psychological suffering even if it was his mistake not to have at least a cousin in a higher place and so get off from the list of people to sacrifice if the state interests are at stake.

Anyhow, now it is done, and his family is very happy, they are all alive.

My guess is he was just some poor guy who displeased the top dogs, . . . was “sacrificed” at the spy altar to make it look right. They got rid of a thorn, . . . and did a big PR job at the same time.
