Iran gainsays IAEA optimism about nuclear inspections

The two sides failed to agree on the visit the nuclear agency requested to the Parchin site during their talks Thursday, said Ali Asghar Soltanieh Ambassador to the IAEA Saturday. Another Iranian official asked: “If the inspectors are given access to Parchin (where Iran is suspected of carrying out nuclear explosions) what does Tehran get in return?”  This concession “has to lead to a resolution of the whole problem so that the case of the Iranian nuclear program can be ultimately closed,” he said.
