Iran holds US responsible for lives of 48 citizens nabbed by Syrian rebels

Tehran insisted in a message to Washington through the Swiss embassy that the hostages snatched by Syrian rebels in Damascus were pilgrims not Revolutionary Guardsmen and the countries supporting events in Syria are responsible for their safety. The rebel Free Syrian Army ‘s Al-Baraa Brigade has threatened to execute the Iranian “prisoners” if Syrian army shelling continues against Aleppo and reports that three were killed in that shelling.
