Iran: If Trump sparked ME war, Israel would be destroyed

Iran’s defense minister Hossein Deghan Sunday warned that if US President-elect Donald Trump’s policies led to a Middle East war, it would result in the destruction of the “Zionist regime,” engulf the whole region and lead to a world war. "Among other consequences…  would be the destruction of the city-states on the southern shore of the Persian Gulf, because they lack popular support," he added, referring to small Western-allied Gulf states such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said to a CBS 60 minutes interview Sunday that he has several ideas about how to undo the nuclear deal with Iran which he would prefer to discuss directly with the incoming US president.
