Iran plans to enrich uranium up to 60 percent

Tehran’s argument for raising its uranium enrichment level from 20 to close to weapons grade is advanced by Iranian lawmakers. They are quoted by the hardline Mashrequhnews website as maintaining that Western sanctions force Iran to design big nuclear-powered merchant ships as long-haul oil tankers for which Iran needs to enrich up to 60 percent.
