Iran promises IAEA seven steps within three months
The nuclear watchdog reported “constructive technical meetings” Sunday after its inspectors paid another visit to Tehran. Iran was said to have implemented six previous, initial steps agreed three months ago, including access to two nuclear-related facilities. Details of those steps were not released. However, the nuclear inspectors were again denied access to the Parchin base where Iran is suspected of tested nuclear explosions and was prevented from probing the nuclear program’s military dimensions. DEBKAfile: Tehran has stonewalled the IAEA for years on this visit. It continues to do so claiming that the inspectors are only entitled to “managed access” for visits.
