Iran slams US sanctions as hostile act
Iran's Foreign Ministry on Friday responded to US sanctions by slamming Washington's ‘threats and pressures” pertaining to Tehran's recent successful launch of a satellite carrier. That launch is "Iran's inalienable right" and in compliance with its international obligations, the spokesman said and condemned what he called Washington’s “hostile attitude" and "intervention approach to the internal affairs of other countries."
The US had better stop “unbounded sales of fatal weapons which have targeted peace in the region,” he said.
The latest round of US sanctions hit six Iran-based subsidiaries of Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group, a company central to Iran's ballistic missile program.
