Iran test-fires “new generation” ballistic missiles able to reach Israel

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Saturday test-fired anti-warship ballistic missiles against targets in the Indian Ocean, wrapping up its third military exercise in two weeks, follwoing a naval maneuver in the Sea of Oman and an army drone drill. Also tested in the latest exercise were “new generation” surface=to-surface ballistic missiles “of various classes” which were said to have destroyed their target from a distance of 1,800km. – far enough to reach Israel and US military bases in the region.
