Iran tests ballistic missiles intended to hit Israel
Iran's state-run news agencies reported Wednesday morning that the Revolutionary Guards Corps had successfully conducted two more tests of ballistic missiles following a series of test-firings over the last day. The reports said the Qadr missiles, bearing the slogan "We must destroy Israel", were fired from northern Iran at targets in the southeast. Brig. Gen. Amir Hajizadeh was quoted as saying the missiles have a range of 2,000 kilometers in order to strike Israel "from a safe distance."
