Iran tests military drones in big exercise
Iran tested a wide array of home-made drones in a military exercise launched on Tuesday, two days after the anniversary of the US killing of a top Iranian general by a drone strike in Iraq. In a two-day exercise, Iran’s armed forces are testing combat drones used as bombers, interceptors and reconnaissance missions in the Semnan province. Iranian drones will also drop munitions and, loaded with explosives, carry out a “kamikaze” flight against a target.
