Iran unveils homemade assault copter
Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi said Wednesday the new combat chopper, Toufan II (Storm II), has the most advanced indigenous technologies for high-precision targeting, as well as electronics, optics, laser and armament capabilities. The Iranian armed forces will dramatically boost the combat power once its mass production begins, he said, as Iran's Navy ended its six-day naval exercises in its southern waters. He did not say when production would begin.
