Iranian backlash against US for coalition to fight IS in Iraq and Syria

The secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shankhani, accused the United States Saturday of violating the sovereignty of nations on the "pretext of fighting terrorism" in Iraq and Syria. Washington played a pivotal role in supporting and equipping the terrorists in Syria in a bid to topple the legitimate regime, he said.
And Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani warned the US that, in launching strikes against Iran’s ally Syria as part of its campaign against IS jihadis, it was “playing with fire.”
