An Iranian blogger granted asylum in Israel is a suspected agent

The Shin Bet has questioned an Iranian woman blogger, Neda Amin, to whom Israeli granted asylum on the grounds that she would be at risk from forced repatriation to Iran, after writing for an Israeli news site.
The Shin Bet found that, since moving to Israel from Turkey, she communicated with Iranians “who were not her relatives and were inside Iran.” Amin claimed she is half-Jewish. She is not under arrest, but an Israel official said “Whether there is a (criminal) case here is still being investigated.” One of the Shin Bet’s main tasks is counter-espionage.

If she has family in Iran, then they may now be holding some hostage at a threat of torture or death. This is what they do.
