Iranian general in charge of arms for Hizballah dies of coronavirus

Exclusive: Gen. Hossain Assadollahi of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards has died of the coronavirus. He was in charge of the supply of missiles to Hizballah in Syria and of the project for upgrading their arsenal to high precision. DEBKAfile sources also report that while the authorities in Tehran admit to an Iranian death toll of 1,685, the number of fatalities is unofficially estimated as closer to 9,000.
