Iranian Guards general complains Tehran bowed to Trump
Revolutionary Guars Air Force Commander Brig. Gen. Ali Hajizadeh complained Thursday that Iran backed down from launching a civilian satellite under threat from US President Donald Trump. “It is suspicious to us that a satellite-carrying a rocket that has civilian purposes goes back to the warehouse after an American threat. Until when shall we pay ransom and demonstrate weakness?” He asked in an unusual tone of protest against the Islamic Republican government in Tehran. Hajizadeh urged President Hassan Rouhani to adopt an “offensive” approach toward the United States and prove that “we’re not people of retreat.”
