Iran’s only nuclear power plant shut down malfunction

Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant has been temporarily shut down for a “technical overhaul”, Iranian state TV said on Sunday. The emergency shutdown began on Saturday and is expected to last for “three to four days/” and cause power outages. The plant, supplied and maintained by Russian technicians, has been in operation for ten years and this is its first known breakdown.
