Iran’s parliament tops up missile program & Al Qods budgets
Iran’s parliament, the Majlis, voted Sunday to respond to new US sanctions by adding app. $609m to the national missile program and the Revolutionary Guards al Qods budgets. Al Qods is the proactive Guards arm for regional subversion and terrorism. The bill cited “hostile” policies against Iran and American “adventurism in the region.” Speaker Ali Larijani said it was a first step. If the US applies more sanctions, Tehran will react, he said.
