Iran’s parliament votes to ban access to military sites and scientists
If approved into law, the bill voted in by a majlis majority Sunday would ban international nuclear inspectors’ access to Iran’s military sites and scientists, and require the lifting of all sanctions upon the signing of a final nuclear accord which is scheduled for June 30. DEBKAfile: The parliamentary vote merely formalized a concession already made by Washington for inspections to be restricted to nuclear sites allowed by Tehran. Iran would justify barring inspectors from military sites – where secret nuclear detonation tests are suspected of taking place – simply by refusing to designate them nuclear facilities.
