Iran’s president accepts Saudi King’s invitation to Riyadh
Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi said on Monday that he had accepted Saudi King Salman’s invitation to visit Riyadh, following the Chinese-brokered revival of diplomat ties. In another development, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced that his staff were discussing the venue for the first get-together of the two foreign ministers. He stressed that Swiss diplomats were involved in this exchange and Beijing was not the only factor involved in the Iran-Saudi détente.
