Iran’s president warns Saudis against threatening stance

As war tensions mounted between them, President Hassan Rouhani warned Saudi Arabia on Wednesday that it will achieve nothing by threatening the might of Iran:  “You know the might and place of the Islamic republic. People more powerful than you have been unable to do anything against the Iranian people,” Rouhani said. “The United States and their allies have mobilized all their capabilities against us and achieved nothing.”

If you think that Iran is not your friend and that the United States and the Zionist regime (Israel) are, you are making a strategic and analytical error.”

“The United States and their allies have mobilized all their capabilities against us and achieved nothing.”

Well, the last part of the sentence may be true. We gave them $150B and achieved nothing.

That stain on our reputation is now distant history, What was it’s name? Sorry, no memory of it. Regards

All of this is because of the Obama administration and their blaton pro Iranian foreign policy. The only good thing that will come out of this will be a good middle east war that Israel will take of a part of the Sinai again. It would not surprise me if the Iranians bomb the Aswan dam and finish off Egypt.

Your first sentence…I totally agree with. If there is a War….it can lead to Nuclear Exchanges, in which everyone loses.
Unfortunately, it seems as though events are heading that way.

Obama and Kerry have empowered Iran to the point where they will have complete hegemony over the Region…Which is what they always wanted. Iran sees the West, especially the US as a threat to their influence and power.
I have no love for The Saudis…But I do feel that President Al Sisi of Egypt can be trusted. Hence, we should be casting our lot with The Sunni Nations. After all, who wants to deal with a place that is literally full of Shiite?
