Iran’s running assault on Israel won’t succeed – Netanyahu

Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu said Friday that the continuous offensive staged by Iran against Israel won’t succeed. He spoke during a hospital visit to soldiers injured in the Hizballah rocket attack on their convoy Wednesday. Regarding the controversy surrounding his forthcoming speech on Iran to the US Congress, Netanyahu commented that it is easier to argue about the protocol involved than it would be to struggle against an Iran armed with a nuclear bomb. Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon accused Iran of trying to harm Israel from all fronts but the IDF’s Northern Command is prepared to protect civilians and soldiers in any contingency.
